Community Wellness

Casino Rama's Community Wellness Program is based on the First Nations medicine wheel, stressing balance in all parts of one's life. Food banks, women's shelters, seniors, groups and many other grass-roots organizations and agencies have benefited from Casino Rama's generosity since 1996.

Almost without exception, only community events, services and projects that occur in Simcoe County or contribute directly to the wellness of Simcoe County residents will be considered.

Projects involving sporting teams, religious or political groups, provincial or national associations or those benefiting minors (under age 19), will not be funded. Capital requests, salaries, administration costs, for profit organizations or businesses, or individual or personal needs will not be considered. There are four application deadlines each year.
